Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
Our son Hayden was diagnosed with cancer (Wilms tumour) on the 21 of June 2012 after spending 10 nights in hospital. The staff from ward 84 at Manchester Children’s Hospital have been absolutely unbelievable in the support to each and every member of our family. Hayden started his chemotherapy on 21st June and will lose his hair in the next 2-3 weeks. I have decided to shave my head to support him, then family and friends came up with the idea of doing the same for charity and straight away I decided to do it for the ward after all I don’t know how we could have got through the last couple of weeks without them. We don’t have a target and even a couple of quid will make a difference to buy toys and games etc for the children or facilities for the parents who spend all their time there with their poorly children. Its a brilliant place that helps so many family’s come to terms with something you never think will happen to you but if it does ward 84 is the place you would want to be. Thanks for reading and don’t forget even a quid will help.
Thank You Steve Joanne Hayden and the rest of our family and friends
