We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Hello, I am Ryan and I am 12. On the 25th September 2016, me and my older brother Tyronne are running the IKANO Robin Hood Mini Marathon in memory of our little brother, Alfie Bear.

September is childhood cancer awareness month, so we will be dressing as gold superhero's and running in Alfie's memory and in honour of all the children affected by Cancer.

Alfie sadly earned his angel wings on the 02nd June 2014 after a brave battle with an inoperable brain tumour called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

DIPG has a 0% survival rate and every 9 days another child will be diagnosed with DIPG in this country.

Alfie was only 6 and always laughing and smiling, even when he was very poorly. We want to help raise money towards children's brain tumour research, so children like Alfie can smile more in the future.

Please go to www.alfiebearsjourney.co.uk if you would like to read more about our brave superhero brother.

Thank you for any help you can give us.

Ryan and Tyronne
