Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.

Many apologies for my lack of creativity - I'm just using lots of the same stuff from last year.
I won't bore you with the details - you probably all know that I am now utterly obsessed with marathon running so perhaps it is not such a great achievement for me now as it is for others. Nevertheless, a number of people have enquired recently as to whether I'm running for charity again, so the answer is, yes, I am going to try and raise a bit of money for Cancer Research UK.
Unfortunately as I have a place at the Championship start, if I want to score for my club I have to wear their vest, so won't be running in the charity vest this time round.
However, in case you want to look out for me, my number is 709 and I'll be wearing a red vest with two gold bands. It all starts at 9.45, and if it goes well I should be finished round about 12.15.
You may have seen that this website takes a small cut of all the donations you make, which initially prevented me from using the site. However, it was pointed out to me (by someone who works for a charity) that with small charities in particular, this actually saves them a lot of time and effort as the charity are presented with a single cheque at the end of it all, rather than having to trawl through hand-written sponsorship forms checking that everyone has included their address and postcode for gift aid and that the total has been added up correctly. Just in case this might be stopping you...
Anyway, if you would like to give the Cancer Research UK people some money, thank you, but don't feel obliged to.
I'm not quite sure whether this page will include a link to the charity website - if not, it's www.cancerresearchuk.org.
Let me know if you want to know more about the day, or anything else for that matter. I'm very clever, you know.
