Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.The 6 of us are currently first year Student Mental Health Nurses at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). We decided that it would be a great opportunity to use the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge as a way to raise money and awareness for Mental Health and in particular, the charity, 'YoungMinds'. Childhood and teenage years are when mental health is developed and
patterns are set for the future. So a child with good mental health is
much more likely to have good mental health as an adult, and to be able
to take on adult responsibilities and fulfill their potential.YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the
emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.
Driven by their experiences , YoungMinds campaign, research and influence policy
and practice. The more we can raise for YoungMinds, the more fantastic work they can do and the more research they can carry out.
