In April a merry band of us will complete the MASSIVE 3 Old County Tops Challenge in aid of Stepping Stones Nigeria.
Trekkers - Paul Steele, John Hargreaves, Joe Haworth
This is no ordinary stroll. The old counties involved are Cumberland, Westmorland and Lancashire. So will involve climbing the highest mountains in each - Scafell Pike, Coniston Old Man and Helvellyn (non stop, on foot all the way round) in JUST 18 hours.
That will be 38 miles, 2900m of ascent and plenty of hard work. An ultimate challenge for all involved.
