This year, on the 23rd June, I have decided to do something that I have been thinking about doing for some time. At the same time I am hoping to raise lots of money for Acorns Childrens Hospice. Can you imagine being a child, or having a son or daughter, with a life limiting or life threatening illness? Please, please, please donate as much as you can afford to help this amazing charity!

My challenge is to ride from John O'Groats to Land's End in one day on my Yamaha Super Ténéré. This is the longest distance between any two points on the UK mainland and amounts to around 860 miles. Riding from Sunrise at around 0400 and finishing around Sunset at 2130 I could be riding for as long as 16 hours.
