Yes folks, everything you have heard is true. For the fifth year in a row, I will be cycling 170 miles with my truant brethren to Download festival to raise as much money as I can for Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer and Childline. This years ride is all the more personal for me as the 'C' word has reared it's ugly head again, with my father recently being told that his cancer has returned, when previously he had been given the all clear.

Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people. It supports thousands of people in its own centres and by working in partnership with a wide range of organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals. When delivered by a trained practitioner, music therapy can help a child with autism to communicate, reduce anxiety for those living with dementia or provide comfort and celebrate the life of someone facing terminal illness.
