Story

As the 2012 Captain of Charnwood Forest Golf Club and an Ambassador for Rainbows, I have recently completed my Captain's  Golf Endurance Charity Challenge.  The original feat completed by Harry Flude in 1913 was successfully recreated as I played 150 holes in 13 hours 50 minutes.  My average score was 82 for 18 holes and my best score was 74 which included an eagle 2 at the 90th hole.  On the day, over 30 fantastic freinds and family helped with caddying and ball spotting and many more members attended and followed me round to provide support - thanks to all of them.

Rainbows is a fantastic charity that provides critical support to families who have a life-limited or life-threatened child.  Every penny raised from this challenge will be put to good use by Rainbows in providing respite, palliative and end of life care for these deserving families.

Please give generously and help me to help this wonderful charity.
