Story
YO ADRIAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Ok, so I've signed up to a white collar boxing event.
Now most of you have stopped laughing, let me explain the story.
I am not a small bloke. The first one to admit it and also the first one to not be happy with it. Sadly, I hate exercise and any I do, I get bored with and lose motivation. Apart from boxing. I don't know what it is. Just something about it that keeps me wanting more.
I saw an advert asking for people to sign up for a white collar boxing event in Brighton and I thought, why not. Eight weeks training and the main event after. All money raised going to Cancer Research UK, a charity very close to me for a number of reasons. As most of you know, 1 in 3 of us will either suffer from, or know someone who has suffered with cancer. Sadly, I lost my grandad a while ago as well as knowing dear friends who have suffered over the years. Thankfully, my friends have fought and won.
Claire's dad also lost to cancer just before we met, meaning I sadly never met him or got to know him. For all these reasons, we are making cancer research a big part of our wedding come the 30th August.
What is worrying Claire is the fact that the fight is on the 16th August. TWO WEEKS before wedding. I have tried to assure her and she has calmed a little knowing who the money is being raised for. I would of course like to raise as much money as possible for a great charity.
Whatever you can give I will be eternally grateful. If any of you are feeling generous and would also like to have your works company also sponsor my shirt, you can do. This costs £50 and your company logo will be printed onto my shirt the night on the fight (I'm sure you'll also be mentioned as I enter the ring).
For those who wanted a REAL good giggle, you can also come to the fight itself. A night full of amateur boxing, including myself. It will be a black tie event at the Grand Hotel. Tickets are £20 and are available through myself (please do not put the money for tickets through this page, you will not get a ticket and you will not be refunded). If you also wanted to have a ticket for the night either contact me via Facebook for those who are on there in a private message, otherwise via email stephen_leppard@hotmail.com or mobile 07790998417.

Thank you again, all messages of support will be very much appreciated and I hope to maybe even see some of you at the Grand Hotel on the 16th August.
I'LL NEVER CHANGE THE WORLD, BUT IF I CAN AT LEAST HELP MAKE A DENT, THEN I'M HAPPY KNOWING I'VE DONE ALL I CAN TO TRY.
