Story
i work as gardener for tendering district council. i've had long hair most of my life, i last had my hair cut short about 17 years ago.
i first thought of shaving my hair off for a cancer charity, then it was suggested to me that i make use of my hair by donating the hair to the little princess trust, who supply wigs for children aged 2 to 18 years of age who are undergoing chemotherapy.
the little princess trust provide the wigs at a cost to the charity of £350, the retail cost of the wigs would be around £1500 without donations of hair, these wigs are provided free of charge to the children.
chemotherapy is the primary cause of hair loss in children. children will oftern need several wigs throughout their cancer treatment. so i would love to have my hair used in this way and hopefully raise enough money to have it made into a wig for these beautiful children.
so please could you help by donating as much as you can!!
thankyou in anticipation
