Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm pleased to say that I have now completed my first ever marathon in Rotterdam on Sunday 11th April 2010.  My intense 15 week preparation paid off and the race went very well and I finished in a time of 2hr 51m 40s.

My Dad died of lung cancer in 1999 and he never met my wife nor his two lovely grand-children, now aged 2 and 5.  My wife is also recovering from breast cancer herself.  A close work colleague is also currently undgoing cancer treatment.   As you might imagine, it would really mean a great deal to me if you were able to make a contribution to my chosen causeIt's still possible to donate, even though I have now completed the race.

Many thanks in anticipation

Pete
