Story
Well all the monies been collected and I finally raised £1915 for the British Heart Foundation.
My pre-race strategy was to run between 4h -4.15 hrs with a sub-4hr if possible, however after hitting "The Wall" at 22 miles I was just happy to grind out the last 4 miles and finish.
For the record, I completed the race in 4h 9m 26s which was only 4 minutes slower than Gordon Ramsay, but I finished ahead of Ronan Keating (4H 15m) and Lee McQueen (4H - 22M, Winner of The Apprentice 2008) who are all YOUNGER THAN ME!

Thanks to everyone for your kind donations for a very worthy cause in what are difficult economic times and for helping me to achieve my personal ambition of running a Marathon.
I would particularly like to thank the following companies who provided corporate donations and helped to kick-start my sponsorship campaign.
