We fulfil unforgettable Special Days to support seriously ill 16 - 40 year olds

Story

This is a space hop in memory of Ruth Warhurst, who passed away earlier this year, aged 31.  Ruth was diagnosed with Hodgkins' Lymphoma in May 2008, and later that year, she benefitted from a fabulous weekend in London, courtesy of the Willow Foundation. The anticipation of the trip, and the memories afterwards, kept her going through some of her harder times.

We are a random collection of her friends and family who wanted to do something wacky (in true Ruth style), to help other people have a treat from the Willow Foundation.

So, on 17th July, we decided to do the highest space hop in Britain, on top of Mount Snowdon!  It was wet, windy and we couldn't see a thing, but we were laughing all the way, and I'm sure Ruth was laughing with us.

And on 27th August we did it all again at lower altitude in Conwy, this time with the children, and again, with lots of laughs.
