Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hello hello hello!

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page.

My name is Peter Falconer. I am a musician, and a lazy bastard.  Despite this, throughout 2011 I will be writing and recording a song a week, every week, raising money for Parkinson's UK

Every hour, somebody in the UK is diagnosed with this condition, which can affect anybody - regardless of their race, gender, income, education, sexual preference, dietary habits or musical taste.  I myself have family and friends who have been affected by Parkinson's, and Parkinson's UK is working towards finding cures and prophylactic measures, as well as improving the lives of people currently suffering with the condition.

Please give generously - you can donate a few bob every time I complete a song, or just a big wadge for hitting my target.

Keep checking out the blog at songaweek2011.blogspot.com for new songs and updates, and if you have any requests for subjects you'd like me to write about, you can contact me there!

Now I've got no excuse.  Wish me luck!
