Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We're a team taking part in the University of East Anglia's 'Jailbreak 2013' event, where the aim is to get as far away from the University campus as possible within 48 hours - spending no money on public transport, and with no help from friends or family.

Our team members are Christian Georgiou, Douglas Mair and Oliver Giles, heading out under the team name So Long and Thanks for all the Fish & Chips.

Our aim is to end up in some country in Europe (Germany, France, Denmark etc) over those 48 hours, whilst keeping you updated along the way.

The reason we're doing this is to help raise money for a truly worthy cause, Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK is the largest charity for cancer research in the world, and have helped to save millions of lives with the work they've done. We believe that by raising money for this charity we're supporting a truly great cause, in the hopes that cancer will some day have a cure.

Please have the heart to dig deep for this cause, and to spare what money you can. Aside from an adventure across Europe, this is also an adventure to raise money to help those who need help the most.

To all of our friends and family who support us, thank you. You're fantastic.
