24 March 2012 - Little Louis very sadly passed away yesterday due to his illness. Oldies Club is very grateful to his wonderful foster home for taking such great care of him for us and our thoughts are with them at this very sad time. Sleep tight, Louis.

Louis is a gorgeous 10 year old French Bulldog cross who came into the care of Oldies Club, because his owner could no longer give him the time and attention that he deserved.

Sadly whilst in Oldies Club foster care, Louis began fitting and, on veterinary advice, the charity arranged for him to him to have an MRI scan, at a cost to the charity of £2014.

Unfortunately this revealed that poor Louis has a brain tumour :-( Everyone at Oldies Club was devastated at this news.

The vet noted a lot of inflammation around the tumour and hopes that with anti-inflammatories, Louis can be made more comfortable and his symptoms relieved for however long he has left.

Oldies Club has subsequently made Louis a sponsor dog, meaning he will remain in foster care, with the charity covering his vet bills for the rest of his life.

Oldies Club hopes very much that Louis will respond well to treatment and would be really, really grateful if you would make a donation towards the cost of Louis' veterinary treatment.
