Our theatre has been dark for most of the past year due to the ongoing global pandemic. As a voluntary organisation, we depend on charitable funding and our membership to help us raise money to keep doing what we do.
Usually South London Theatre is one of the busiest community theatres in the country, staging over 22 shows each year with over 400 adult and 100 youth members. In 2016 support from the Heritage Lottery Fund gave us the chance to fully restore our lovely Old Fire Station to once again make the building a vibrant presence in the West Norwood community.
As a listed building, maintenance is a constant challenge, and we want to continually improve the Old Fire Station and its facilities in order for it to be a cultural asset for both SLT and the surrounding community.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support us: South London Theatre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
