Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. I am a 20 year old deaf sailor who has been sailing for 5 years. I am taking part in Skandia Cowes Week 2006 in the Sonar Class along with my coach Richard Beardsley (hearing), my crew members Katie Davison (hard of hearing) and Julia Brett (hearing). My aim is to promote deaf awarness through sailing and to act as a role model to other young deaf people. I want to prove that we can achieve our dreams without deafness defeating us. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The National Deaf Children's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
