We raise SUDEP & epilepsy risks awareness to prevent deaths & support those bereaved

Story

Rising ska stars will be performing at the Electric Theatre in Guildford on Wednesday 29th August 2007. Starting at 6:30pm, the SKAelectric evening has been organised in aid of Epilepsy Bereaved.

The evening has been organised in memory of Heathside School student Laura Turner, who died suddenly in January 2005 aged 14 from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). The charity Epilepsy Bereaved was created to widen the understanding of SUDEP, fund researching and to support families bereaved by epilepsy. Epilepsy Bereaved will receive all profits from the concert.

The box office for the concert is now open, and tickets (no booking fee) can be bought by calling 01483 444 789. All tickets are standing (or dancing!), and cost £8.

For those who can't attend the concert (or don't appreciate ska-punk!), this page offers you the opportunity to make a donation to Epilepsy Bereaved in memory of Laura, as donations adding to those from the concert; instead of buying a ticket. Simply follow the instructions.

Justgiving note:
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Epilepsy Bereaved will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Thank you for your support.
