Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  If you have been so very kind to sponsor me before (justgiving.com/sjp, justgiving.com/sjp2 or justgiving.com/sjp3) you will know how this works.  Basically I hassle you to donate some money - and then I send you a mail saying thank you very much....and Macmillan get some help funding the amazing work that they do to support the lives of people affected by cancer.

This will be my fourth thing for Macmillan in memory of my dad.  But there will be no Fat Girl on the Run in 2007... or even Fat Girl walking a very long way in the rain.... this year (God help me) I will be zipping into action (see what I did there?!) by sliding at apparently "a breaktaking and exhilarating speed" diagonally across the top of the West ham United Football Club pitch, from one side to the other....See here for more details  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zip-line about the flying fox/zip wire/death slide - whatever you want to call it....

If you would like to come along and support me (or indeed, just laugh and point whilst I cry/wet myself with fear), please do so.  The event is on Sunday 1st July.  My, how I am looking forward to it already....

Here's the important stuff - donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.  Many thanks for your support.
