Story

Every year Macmillan helps millions of people who have been/are being affected by cancer, they can help with anything from a simple chat with one of their volunteers to helping people through their treatment & beyond with one of their professional nurses.

Macmillan are a non-profit organization so every year they rely on kind hearted people like you and me to raise/give what they can to allow them to continue doing all the fantastic work they do.

In 2012 & in 2014 I lost 2 close family members to cancer it was then that I saw just a small glimpse into the amazing work that Macmillan do. Due to this I have decided to give something back to this amazing organization, so next year I shall be taking part in the cycling event RideLondon 100 2016. This is a gruelling 100 mile ride that starts at the Olympic park then goes out to the Surrey countryside then back in to central London with a spectacular finish on The Mall. To take part in this event I will need to raise at least £750 for Macmillan but hopefully I shall raise a lot more!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
