Story
Thirteen
of us at England Golf are going the extra mile – or 20 - this year for
Macmillan Cancer Support.
We’re taking part in the Longest Day Golf
Challenge, playing 72 holes at Woodhall Spa Golf Club on 21 June to raise
funds to help people living with cancer. And it's an early start,
with our first group teeing off at 4.30am!
We’re being supported by many of our
colleagues who are planning a relay on the pitch and putt course at Woodhall
Spa, covering as many holes as possible in the day. Several of them are
just Getting into Golf – perhaps next year they’ll do the full LDGC!
Because our organisation looks after amateur
golf in England, this is a cause that’s very close to our hearts and we
hope you’ll support us if you can.
We’ve partnered with Macmillan this year to
help make this event an even bigger success and we’re sending good luck
wishes to all the other clubs and golfers who’re taking part.
Also a very big thank you to Woodhall Spa
Golf Club for their help with this event.
