Story

The Vatternrundan  is a non-competitive overnight event (or as the Swedes call it, a ‘motionslopp’) over a 300km (186 miles) course in one of the most breathtaking areas of Northern Europe. Tracing the shores of the spectacular Lake Vättern in Sweden the ride is open to riders over the age of 18 of all abilities and last year attracted 21,000 participants.

And this year on the night of 17 June I'm joining them!

I'm riding for Cyclists Fighting Cancer - a charity whose purpose is to provide bikes, adapted tricycles and equipment to children and young people whose lives have been affected by cancer.

I hope you'll sponsor me for whatever you can afford. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
