I am nearly at my target of £1,000  (£200 short) so please help me to get there (and beyond too) I really am very grateful for all your help

I am very proud to be a part of the Viking Coastal Bike Ride(Reculver, Joss Bay Broadstairs and Viking Ship - Pegwell ) all 32 miles of it! and I am "delighted" in taking part.

As many people in Thanet and beyond know, my other half " Cllr Mick "Tee" Tomlinson had a heart attack in 1993, a triple by-pass in October 2007 and a Cardiac Arrest on February 1st 2008 - fortunately I went into "over drive" and resuscitated him, helped by friends. I know initially he is still here because of me BUT  without the excellent care from the paramedics, A&E, Intensive Care and the Coronary Care Unit - I know he wouldn't be here today and many lives would be different. His defibrillator was fitted on February 14th, which was very apt and he is now doing everything he used to (apart from the ironing!)

Mick knows how lucky he has been and I will be eternally greatful for all of the help and support given to both of us - I am especially pleased that "we" have endorsed the leaflet for this fantastic event and would encourage as many people to take part as possible.
