Thank you for visiting our Shine fundraising page in support of brain cancer research. Sponsoring us is quick, easy and secure.
Louise, Eva and Nathalie have decided to do this walk because we've seen the effects of brain cancer on families we know and we wanted to make a small contribution to funding the research and the teams that have helped the people we care about.
Every year around 9,100 people in the UK are diagnosed with a brain tumour. But they can sometimes be hard to treat and around 4,900 people lose their life to the disease every year. In children, brain tumour survival has almost doubled since the late 1960’s though less progress has been seen in adults. Cancer Research UK is a major funder of brain tumour research.
