Story
In 2009 we received the news my father in law had suffered a life threatening heart attack while on holiday in Ireland. Thankfully he received prompt, effective attention and after a long stay in hospital he made a good recovery and we are blessed that he is still with us today. Thanks to the amazing research, support and care that the British Heart Foundation provides for thousands of families, including ours, my father in law is able to receive ongoing care for his heart disease and live a pretty normal life.
The British Heart Foundation charity means the world to us - we know we are one of the luckier families.
By riding London to Paris I want to demonstrate our ongoing and continuous support for this fantastic cause, not just for James and the ongoing support he can receive, but for everyone else who has been touched by heart disease in any way; by fundraising for BHF we can all help to save lives and provide much needed care and support.
Please support me on this 300 mile adventure - its going to hurt - but it will be worth every second!!
Thank you,
Shaun
