Story
Dear Sponsor,
I suppose if you ask anyone if there is something they have always wanted to do, they would refer you to some kind of lifetime ambition. For me, ever since I was a youngster, it was to fly.
Over the past year or so I have started a personal journey towards fulfilling that ambition by learning to fly a powered paraglider. I have set myself a greater challenge, to paramotor from Land's End to John O'Groats and in doing so raise as much as I can for a very worthwhile cause. This feat has been completed only 5 times before, and takes a journey of around 10 days to complete, and apart from the physical demands, is extremely weather dependant.
Great Ormond Street faces an incredible task, to raise over £50 million every year. The charity exists to support the hospital so that it can remain at the forefront of international paediatric medicine and continue to offer specialist, world class care to thousands of patients every year. Anyone who has had reason to encounter their services will agree that they are of the most deserving home grown causes.
Your donations can help fund new equipment or the hospital's refurbishment, support research into breakthrough treatments or provide accommodation and support services for children and families.
Thank you for visiting my page, please dig deep and donate now to this worthy cause.
