I am running the Brighton Half Marathon, and my little sister is running the Brighton mini mile. We are raising money for diabetes. Our brother was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 5.He has always found it extremely hard to do his injections, and our parents have been fighting for years to get a pump for him. They have finally agreed and he is receiving his pump in February. This will make his life so much easier, something we all take for granted, but most importantly  improve his health. If it wasn't for research these pumps wouldn't be available to so many children and adults. Can you imagine pinning your child down 3 times a day to do injections, when they are screaming, " I hate you". Please, Please  donate what ever you can afford. It all adds up . Hopefully between us we can find a cure without injections.
