A small group of us are riding coast to coast across UK (narrowest part of course!). and I am asking you to sponsor me and donate a smal amount to charity.

My chosen charity is The Prostate Project whose funds help with research into a new form of treatment called Brachytherapy, which has recently been practiced on my Uncle John. According to my aunty Mary, so far the signs are very good and the 98 radioactive seeds implanted into John are doing a good job. In December, John and Mary willl celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

So even if you can't find any sympathy (and associated small donation) for my sore posterior, think about your (or your partners) prostate as 3 men an hour are diagnosed with this type of cancer.
