Four Days, Five Countries, Three Thousand Kilometres, .......... One £500 banger.

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out our page.  We have entered the Scumball 3000 european road rally which has chosen Winston's Wish as its named charity for this year.  Its a bit like Gumball 3000 only in cars that cost less than £500 so unfortuantely not so glamourous!

It all starts at the Goodwood Motorcircuit in West Sussex on the 19th April when all the cars will get checked and we get to know our fellow scumballers. After the pre party we have to make our way in convoy to Calais by ferry via Dover for the 6AM ferry. Once in Calais the rally starts and we are given our destination for that day. We are not told about the route until the day we drive it. We should be driving roughly 500 miles a day, which is the distance from London to Aberdeen!!! And if this was not enough we will also be attempting to sleep in a tent each night.

We are not doing this for pleasure, we are in it to win it. We are also making some secret modifications to boost our chances.
