Story
We made it to BEN NEVIS!!....... but not quite up the whole mountain...what do I mean? We have climbed the physical mountain to Ben Nevis (see the link below for pictography)...I kept my part of the pledge...now, its your turn! We still have over £1,800 worth of the mountain to climb! We need to get to the top...to hit the £5,000!
Look how far we have come. Did you believe in the beginning, when you first heard about this, that we can be able to climb this far? Now one final push, and the brilliant baby will be in our arms, crying and we, smiling in tears.
Thank you for supporting me. Now, please go even further and sponsor me online. Get your friends to be part of this great rewarding experience...but what experience is it?
I have taken up a greatest challenge…to climb up the HIGHEST Mountain in the UK…BEN NEVIS Mountain(1,344m or 4,406 ft high), on 28th November 2007, for the FIRST time in my life, to raise funds in support for a local charity to open a New Youth Centre in Peckham.
I am so looking forward to the adventure…The experience is very exciting…sometimes frightening…(coming from a tropical climate, and having to climb this mountain in winter)…but all the more rewarding as it is for a good course…….
…………BUT I need to raise £5,000…………………….. Will you help me?
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the charity will receive your money directly and faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
By the way, have you checked out this page? www.thebennevischallenge.com? I would if I were you!
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
The charity, UCKG helpcentre, implements a vibrant community outreach and effective counseling services open to generic community, with a strong emphasis on the youth.
The Peckham Helpcentre is threatened with closure. In the spate of gang violence, gun shooting and muggings inSouth London, I implore you to reach deep into your pocket to reach out to these young people in Peckham who are currently living under a real threat of a very bleak future.
