SARAH's RED WHITE & BLUE ROSE APPEAL

Fundraising for NHS Charities Together
£150
raised of £1,000 target
RED WHITE & BLUE ROSE APPEAL, 18 April 2020
NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

In my role as Veterans Sweetheart for the past 6 years, you have helped me to raise much needed funds and raise awareness of the many charities working hard to support our Military Heroes. In the current COVID Pandemic, I feel compelled to do something to help, and would really appreciate your support. What I am asking you to do is fun and simple.

Background

I recorded a very old song called
The Rose of No Man’s Land which is a beautiful song paying tribute to the Red Cross nurses working near to the front lines during World War 1. I have re-written some of the words to the song and am using it as a Tribute to the amazing work being done by our NHS. Thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses, Care Staff, Key Workers. Thank you to you all for being courageous and Loyal at this very difficult time.

The key new Lyrics
are ‘Mid this COVID Curse Stands the Loyal Nurse, The Rose of No Man’s Land.’
This new lyric made the idea of creating a Special Rose appear in my mind.

Instructions on how to create your Special Red White & Blue Rose can be found on my face book page

The White and Blue signifies the colours of Our NHS and the Red the COVID Virus. The Red White & Blue together, the colours of Our Union Jack, also signify that we can achieve great things when we all pull together.

I'd love to see some of your creations so please take a picture and send to info@shinymusic.co.uk

Once you have made your Special Rose display it in your window or wear it with pride to show others that you have made your donation to the Charity.
