We help over 2,000 local people each year to live their precious lives well

Story

At Saracens, we've teamed up with The Hospice of St Francis to raise, what we hope will be at least £100,000 during this year’s Rugby season.

The team, coaches and supporters will be taking part in six sponsored events kicking off with a 100ft abseil in September, hotting up to a daring fire walk in November, with a more leisurely sponsored walk in between.  Then there’s a  ‘Dame for a Laugh’ run in April where the players get the chance to dress up as ‘Dames’, followed by a competitive boat race between the Forwards and Backs in the Spring. The fundraising season will conclude with a 72 hole one day golf challenge in June.

You are currently at the ‘Official Saracens Page’ and can make your donation right here. Alternatively you can sponsor some of the individual players directly.  To do this, simply scroll down and on the left you’ll see a picture of the team dressed up in 'drag'.  Click on 'The Sarries' and it will take you to the team page where you can choose which Sarrie to sponsor.

The Hospice of St Francis, based in Berkhamsted, provides care for people with life limiting illnesses in North West Herts and the Chiltern area of Bucks, a catchment area of over 300,000 people. Their aim is to improve the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problems associated with life threatening disease. Their care is given for free via the Inpatient Unit, Specialist Home Care, Day Hospice, Outpatient appointments and Supportive care providing counselling to loved ones. They also have a specialist service for children affected by the illness of a family member.

We hope you will support The Hospice of St Francis and help us reach our goal by sponsoring us to take part in the above challenges.

Thanks so much, we really appreciate your support
