Around 85,000 people in the UK currently suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. A disease which attacks the body’s nervous system, interfering with the messages sent from the brain to the body. On the 21st of May I will be running in The Great Manchester Run, a 10km run around the streets of Manchester with 20,000 other people. I have done a little training and I am now quietly confident that I can run that distance without dying. However I need to try and raise some more money!
All donations are going to the MS society, with the money going towards running telephone support for people with MS. Organising visits for people who have been recently diagnosed, running respite centres, funding research and many other things.
MS is a disease that is on the increase with in some cases dire symptons and as yet no known cure although it sounds corny, every penny really does count.
Any donations will be gratefully received.
Many thanks for your support,
Sam Sutton
