I have lost too many people to cancer including my mom and step brother. I tested positive for the faulty BRCA1 gene in July 2014 (Meaning I'm at higher risk of developing ovarian and breast cancer) and was then diagnosed with cervical cancer August 2014. I will be doing the race for life 3 days after having chemo (walking and likely in a wheel chair) I will be feeling rough but cancer won't stop me!
