Story
Updated 15 September 2011:
I’m running the Great North Run this Sunday for the MS Society. Every year I try and do something to raise money in support of my sister Katie who was diagnosed with MS five years ago. And with your support, I’m hoping I can beat my £300 fundraising target!
Sooooo... A classic game for you! How many sweets are in the jar?
Make sure to check what other people have guessed before you enter... The first entry with the correct amount wins – thems the rules. I’ll announce the winner on Monday 19 September.
Orrr you could use a little something called JustTextGiving. Text SALL90 £x to 70070 (with x being the amount you want to donate).
To get round the pesky GA rules the winner’s “prize” is just the satisfaction and glory of guessing the correct amount. I will then most likely (aka definitely) *give* you the jar of sweets.

Updated 12 June 2011:
This soft southern fairy is off up North in September to attempt my second half marathon!
I'll be proudly flying the flag for MS Society in support of my lovely sister who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about five years ago.
I've got a fundraising target of £300, which I'm hoping to smash, so I'll be coming up with lots of fun ways to get you to donate your hard earned cash. Watch this space.
And by the way...
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – JustGiving will never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
