Story

You've arrived, now PLEASE donate.

If your not aware and blimey I'll be surprised cos I tell everyone about my transplant even the poor spanish folk at the kareoke in Benidorm. But if your not I had a double lung transplant in Nov2009.

Every day is a blessing and a gift givem to me by my donor. So I figured the very least I can do is become a tabloid whore and do lots to raise awareness for my charities the importance of organ donation and live every day to the fullest.

So I'm doing the 10k again, with no prior training I hope to beat last years time which was 1hr 35mins. Or there abouts.

Please sponsor, please join the organ donor register and lastly please please please say a little prayer for me on Sunday.

I wanted to include why I choose this charity. A holiday fund may not seem hugely worty charity to some- as I know everyone is lucky to get a holiday. But the CF holiday fund helped me to have such a memorable weekend away when I was at my illest. When I truly thought that my last holiday was going to be this one. It gave me memories that I will cherish forever and lets those fighting the daily battle of CF get some time to try and enjoy life.

They are an extremely worthy charity and fully deserve every penny o that they may go on and help another CF'r build memories of somthing other than the daily grind that is living with CF.

:) xxx
