We support research & wellbeing projects to help those with childhood brain tumours

Story

We are running the Reading half marathon to support the Old Abingdonians who have put a team together to run the race in aid of Blue Skye Thinking. The charity was set up by the Old Abingdonians former rugby coach, Mr Hall, after his 4 year old son, Skye, tragically died of a brain tumour last year.

Blue Skye Thinking is a charity which supports research so that all children diagnosed with brain tumours, will have a better chance of survival & a better quality of life post treatment. The charity is run by volunteers and all money donated goes directly to the forefront of research and treatment.

We think this is a fantastic cause and encourage you to read about it, and of course, donate!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
