On Friday the 2nd of November, Rowan and Anna will try to get as far away as possible from the University in Glasgow in 36 hours - all without spending any of their own money. This is not (just) because they're tired of uni life and essay deadlines, but as part of the Glasgow University Charity Fashion Show's 'Jailbreak'. The competition will see which team can get the furthest away, in order to raise money for the charity Simon Community Scotland. 

Simon Community Scotland helps prevent homelessness and battles the effects of homelessness on a local level. They do everything from giving out blankets and clean needles, to offering community courses that can help with job prospects and get people out of homelessness. A big part is also dedicated to fighting period poverty, which leaves most homeless people without access to sanitary products. All the money raised through our JustGiving page goes directly to them and helps them continue the services they offer to homeless people.
