Woodvale Atlantic Challenge 2009 · 15 February 2008
How can you help conquer the Atlantic for the British Heart Foundation?
On 6th December 2009 Richard Hoyland and Steve Coe will undertake the challenge of a lifetime when they take to the Atlantic to row some 2,935 miles in “the worlds toughest rowing race” from La Gomera (Canaries) to Antigua.
This experience is expected to take around three months to complete and, along the way, Richard and Steve will experience 30ft waves, extreme heat, barren conditions and the odd whale or shark!
"Both our families have been personally affected by heart disease which is why we are both extremely motivated to raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation. So please help us.”
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
