Thank you for visiting this page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Rory was a happy and healthy 18 month old baby, when he suddenly developed the symptoms of meningitis. He lost his hearing, and his balance and his motor skills have been severely affected. Much of his young life has been spent in and out of hospital. Thankfully, due to his bravery and the tireless work of his parents Ross and Lynne, Rory is still able to be happy.
This challenge is for Rory.
The challenge involves each participant getting to the top of the highest mountain in each of Scotland, England and Wales in a 24 hour period. Each participant will be asked to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Mount Snowdon in that time. Travelling between the locations will be by car.
Our logistics and planning manager is Mr. Eric Macaulay.
Your donation will help fund research into a really debilitating condition so that Rory, and other cool kids like him, won't have to suffer so much in future. Thank-you very much for donating, there's more official stuff underneath but you can just click the sponsor me now link and get cracking...
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Meningitis Research Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
