Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for this year's 'High Peak Hike', which is in aid of Help for Heroes .

This year we will be doing a Roman-themed hike, from the site of the old Roman fort at Melandra Castle in Gamesley, Glossop, along the old Roman Road to the site of another Roman fort in Brough, then down the Roman Road to Buxton, finishing at St. Ann's Well.

We'll be doing the hike from the 16th - 18th August 2011. The total distance will be about 30 miles, and we hope to raise a lot of money to help our brave service men and women, who do so much for all of us.
