Story
PULL out the shoulder pads, get your hands on a crimping iron and prepare to channel your inner Madonna or maybe Maradona.
On May 1, the Warrington Guardian is calling on the town to step back in time for our charity of the year St Rocco's Hospice and shed their normal work clothes or school uniform for all things 80s as the cause marks 30 years in 2015.
Whether it is dressing like you are in the Papa Don't Preach video, recreating the Hand of God in the 1986 World Cup or even dressing as a movie icon from the era like Marty McFly, if it was acceptable in the 80s then it's acceptable for #RocBackTheClock.
All we ask in return is that everyone who takes part in the fun-filled fancy dress day donates £1 to St Rocco's so they can continue with their vital work in Warrington supporting patients with life-limiting illness.
Our photographers will be out and about throughout May 1 so let us know if you are taking part so we can get a shot of you in your best #RocBackTheClock 80s gear and don't forget to donate your £1 by texting RBTC80 £1 to 70070.
