Story
In June 2006, 27 year old Rob Munslow sets out to fullfill his childhood dream, to row the North Atlantic solo and unsupported in a world record time beating the 55 day record held by his inspiration and idol Tom McClean. Rob is an experienced ocean rower and already a world record holder, this next challenge though is his biggest to date and will test him to the extreme.

“This is the biggest challenge of my life, far from the comfort zone a test of my character, my aim is to beat the 55 day record” (Rob Munslow)

Rowing hard, battling the elements, and avoiding uncomfortable encounters with passing tankers, Rob succeeded in reaching the halfway point on 27th July. The record is still on, and Rob is totally focussed on getting home in under 55 days.
