We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

Here we have a team of three intrepid ‘soles’ who have foolishly agreed to brave the heat and walk barefoot along a strip of burning coals in a bid to raise money for The Stroke Association.

Sarah, Matt and Paul will be walking over 20ft of hot coals, reaching temperatures of 1300F. Fear not, having calculated the risks they will be taking extreme precautionary safety measures, using... mind over matter!

Wish them luck, or better still, please sponsor them by clicking the 'donate' button.

If you live in the Bury St Edmunds area and want to see Paul’s 'cat on a hot tin roof' dance, Matt’s leg hair go up in flames, or smell the burnt cheese as Sarah’s feet get toasted, then come along to the Rugby Club on 20th February.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
