Who would have thought that an epileptic with arthritis and a metal plate in 1 knee, 41 year old would be silly enough to take on a 24.8 (I'm calling it 25!) mile walk? But I am! I am taking a small part alongside the legend that is Jeff Stelling on his walk from St James Park (Exeter) to St James Park (Newcastle). I will be joining him on Day 15, the final leg from The Emirates Riverside, home of Durham County Cricket Club, via The Stadium of Light in Sunderland and the International Stadium at Gateshead before marching into St James Park, Newcastle in the yellow of Oxford United. All the while trying to raise money for an amazing charity who are at the forefront of research into a terrible disease. Anything you can donate would be a huge help to the charity.
Friday June 16th will be a long but enjoyable day.
