This July twelwe young people including myself between the ages of 13-21 will be participating in a life changing experience. We will be trekking the
Sinai
Desertin
over a period of two weeks, one of the harshest environments in the world. Daily temperatures are in the excess of 50 degrees Celsius in direct sunlight and around 45 degrees in the shade. The total length of the trek is 150km; we will have around 14 camels with us and about 8 Bedouin guides. In the final week we will help local Bedouin youths paint rooms inside their local youth centre.
The purpose of the trek is to help raise money for the child bereavement charity ‘Jigsaw4U’. The target for fundraising of the project is £100,000; this is a goal we have set ourselves to achieve. This money will go towards opening a new office for Jigsaw4u in Wokingwhich costs £300,000, so the money we raise will boost the funds. It is estimated that over 5,000 young people in West Surreyalone are bereaved and Jigsaw4u is very under funded charity.
I can relate to the charity Jigsaw4u as I lost my Father three years ago to skin cancer. It was a very tough time in my life and I luckily had bereavement support to get me through it. So I know how much bereavement charities can help young people try and get on with their lives.
If you sponsor me I hope to raise the amount of money required to travel on the trip and also help the team achieve the goal of £100,000+ for Jigsaw4u.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Jigsaw4u will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support. Please donate generously.
