I will be running the 2010 London Marathon for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice (http://phyllistuckwellhospice.org/about-us) , in which my late Auntie Mary spent some of her final days in this year. The NHS cover 16% of the total running costs for Phyllis Tuckwell, which currently requires over £10,000 per day to run, and the remainder of the funding is via fund raising, so all donations are welcomed.

This will be my second London Marathon, and this time I am training to stay in touch with the leaders; I fully expect to be within 120 minutes of first place!!  If you fancy running a marathon, or even a half marathon and don’t want to spend the winter running four or five times a week, you may want to consider running the inaugural Farnham Pilgrims Marathon or Half Marathon, which takes place on 19^th September 2010.  You will get a place and the training will be in the summer, so don’t be shy, either sponsor me or sign for the Farnham Pilgrims event!!
