where do i start!!!!!

having done a few half and then the big london marathon in 2011 and raising over £3k+for good causes.i was left with nothing that i felt i could do better.

now for those of you that dont know me to well, then simply i dont do things half hearted.or take the easy route.so knowing that charties rely on us all to rise money,so they can carry on the good work. also having a very special disabled stepson called Ryan(Mr p) who is 15years old.i knew i had to do something a little special than a marathon 26.2mile run

So what next.....

how about the matter  of 1st a 2.4mile open water swim, followed by a little bike ride of 112miles and then add in the 26.2 marathon run.Add in a little extra pressure its got tobe done in 17hours.

i said i was mad.welcome ro the mad world of ironman trialthons.

WHY......

simply really.i have a very special disabled stepson  called Ryan, who is 15years old and needs 24hours care and surport.so its a case of giving back to people who help.

so why keynsham mencap.......Ryan has been going to there tuesday club @ the frys club, keynsham fromally the old cadburys choclate factory for the last 10years.they take ryan from us for a 2hours every week so me and julie get a break.

now these people give up they time free of charge, sometimes whole days and even whole weekend, when they dont get any sleep, lol.just so special kids  like ryan get something differenet.they sometimes have disco, play games, paint and even make some nice cakes.but most of all enjoy and are in a safe place.

well simply without out our surport clubs like these would not survive, and only to see the smile on these special kids faces is priceless,

so the journey has begin.....update soon
