Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing a charity abseil to raise vital funds for 5 year old Billy Douglas from Co Down, N.I., via the children's charity
 Tree of Hope.

He had major neuro surgery in July 2012. He needs a minimum of 3 physio sessions per week. Along with his swimming rehab too!

This all costs a lot of money, therefore his family are asking for your help.

Billy's rehab costs £80 for 1hr. So I am trying to raise enough money to provide him with 1wk of rehab.

Billy has 1.5yrs left of his rehab program............

With this rehab, Billy will walk like other children in his class!.

Without Billy's continued rehab program. Billy with no doubt end up using his wheelchair for the rest of his life!

Please support and feel free to join in with my sponsored walk and help raise funds for Billy. All you have to do it create your page and pick the tree of hope children's charity. All money raised goes directly to them. Upon receipt from the registered rehab team, the charity pay them directly.

Meaning no hassle for Billy and his family.........

In case you are not aware of 5 year old Billy Douglas from N.Ireland, here is a ...brief run down of why we are raising money, along with a few links for you to watch.

The appeal started in Dec 2011, when Billy was given the devastating news of his brain damage.
The family had a couple of months to raise £50k. If not, their pride and joy would be in a wheelchair for life.........

Through hard work and lots of begging, the money was raised and Aug 2012 Billy had his operation.......

Four hard hours of rehab, daily for the next 3 years along with hydro pool lessons, horse riding and many many items of equipment were needed. But at a cost of £80 an hour just for his physio alone his family struggled. They were simply too busy with Billy to fund raise anymore......

Billy's mum left work and the hard work begun....

Now 20 months on and 1 year left. Billy's family have asked for a bit of help, to help to fund his final year.

As his needs have changed, he needs different equipment etc. All of this comes at a huge cost. So the family have an amazing charity backing them and allowing them to have all donations go via them. The charity then in turn buy whatever Billy needs. Amazing :)

So please watch Billy's updated video here and watch how far he has come over the past 2 years. With your help, support and donations. You can make the difference needed for Billy to achieve his dreams of playing and training with his able bodied friends...
